Information concerning the processing of camera images

Law of 21 March 2007

The NISSE processes camera surveillance data in order to guarantee the safety of the buildings, goods, staff and visitors.  The Law of 21 March 2007 lays down rules for installing and using security cameras.  Pictograms indicate where there is camera surveillance.

The limited number of persons who have access to camera images is bound by professional secrecy and is subject to a duty of discretion. In the cases laid down by law, police services and judicial authorities also have access to the camera images.

The camera images are stored during maximum one month, except in case of security incidents.
